Getting Ready For Fall!

We are having the most beautiful weather!  It definitely feels like fall...which makes me so happy!!  Do you ever just get such a happy feeling that you just want to squeeze someone and scream?  That's how the onset of fall makes me feel! 

I have had a basket chair on my front porch for several years now.  The first few years, I only pulled it out with my fall decorations.  Last fall I decided to spray paint it sort of a light blue color (loved the contrast of orange pumpkins with it), and I ended up pulling it back out for summer.  I decided yesterday to spray paint it a deeper turquoise color and do a little distressing to it.  I would have picked the windiest day of the year to spray paint...but oh well...it's done!

 I love the color, and I just cannot wait to fill the basket part with pumpkins!!!

 I pulled my pitiful looking potato vines out of my pots and cleaned up around them...they are all ready for some pumpkin topiaries...

 We stayed outside all evening yesterday after getting the girls from school and tending to Prince.  It was SO nice...cool and breezy.  I love drinking coffee outside on days like that *Ü*

 Except for painting some crosses on a few like I did in this post last year, I am not much on defacing pumpkins...I love them in their natural state.  But I am REALLY loving these chevron pumpkins and just may have to try it on a few this year...

 I always end up overbuying seasonal foaming handsoaps from Bath and Body Works.  I pulled out the leftovers from last year and plan on using them up before getting more (even though the sparkly labels on this year's collection are tempting me like crazy!). 

And in other exciting news (I know what you're thinking...what could possible be more exciting than me spending the day painting my basket chair for the 189th time and putting out pumpkin scented soaps, right?)...Krispy Kreme opened in Columbus today!  With a Chick-Fil-A and a Krispy Kreme...we are some high-falluting folks around here!  Now if we could just get a Target...
