Elf Recap and What We Did Today

I have forgotten to post what Dottie and Susan have been up to the last couple of days. Since the elves are a big tradition at our house, I like posting what they do on for when we look back.

Sunday morning, we found them taking a nice "bubble" or more like a cotton ball bath in the sink in the girls' bathroom. They had tiny baby wash, tiny towels, and a tiny bath puff. I especially liked the way they turned their little clothes right side out when they took them off. I think everything that Macy and Lucy take off ends up wrong side out. Maybe they could learn a thing or two from the elves.

And yesterday morning, we found them outside peeking in the house...

I sort of forgot to bring them in, so they stayed perched on the front door all day long. Oops. No wonder they were tired last night...we didn't find any fun this morning!

A little girl at church had the cutest sweatshirt on Sunday night. It was Rudolph with her handprints for the antlers. I knew I had to add it to my craft list...I also knew I better get it down fast since there are only 12 days left until Christmas...*gasp!*

I gathered the supplies plus two $5 sweatshirts from Wal-Mart, and we made them today.

I love them!

Lucy's sweatshirt...

Macy's sweatshirt...

My favorite part is the fat polka dot bow...love, love, love...

While waiting on our shirts to dry, the girls painted and crafted again. I love this horse Macy painted...so much, it may have to be framed!

And Lucy's sweet singing angel...

I am still adding touches of Christmas here and there as I find things in my rubbermaids. This vintage wreath added to my apron hook is one of my favorite things...

Updated my Christmas frame on our foyer table (oh how I love some Wal-Mart one hour photo)...

I ran across these rustic snowflakes that I had forgotten about...

I thought they would go well with my JOY wreaths and would be the perfect way to hide the ugly pushpins I used.

I've got Christmas cookies drying...

And I am off to ice more!
