Art by Macy and Lucy, Supper by Jason

My girls are SO happy with some paper and a pen or markers. Seriously, we put away tons of toys this year (remember my playroom makeover??) because they would rather be playing outside or coloring or drawing. They also enjoy imaginatory play...which I love that they love that too. Now, don't get me wrong, they do have toys that they do play with...we just weeded through a bunch of stuff that they didn't play with anymore and that was just causing clutter and chaos (which drove them as crazy as it did me!).

Lucy did this today, and it just made my heart happy. She knows that my favorite word every is "JOY." How precious are these words she wrote (all on her own)...

And you know I am all about some handprint art! So Macy did this reindeer for me... These angels were inspired by the ones I did with my Sunday School class last week.

Macy's...

And Lucy's... Between this angel and all the craft projects I did myself this past weekend, our house is literally covered in glitter...tis the season! I heard once that "glitter is the gift that keeps on giving." How true is that??!!

I had to take a picture of supper tonight...made by Jason *Ü*

Egg and cheese on grand's biscuits...very simple...but so yummy! Today was the girls' last full day of school! The rest of the week will be half days. So exciting!
