Days 5 & 6 At the Beach

I accidentally hit the right align button when I was downloading pictures...but it is really late, and I have bunches to do before going to bed...so I am just leaving them as they are =)
O.k...on to our 5th and 6th day at the beach. My family headed back home on Thursday. J, the girls, and I went down the beach a little ways to his aunt and uncle's fabulous condo. They are always so sweet and generous to let us stay there. We wanted to make a full week's vacations out of this trip.
I pack like you wouldn't believe when we go to the beach. I seriously think we could have stayed 4 months with NO problem. Here are Macy and Lucy waiting on their Daddy to unpack the car...again. He may or may not have cursed me under his breath =)
We headed straight for the pool...

With all the oil crisis, we saw a lot of this...however, it was so weird, because the first part of the week, there was absolutely no getting in the ocean because of the oil. But for the 2nd part of the trip, the water was perfectly fine! Crazy...but great!

I found me a new water to drink (because I am all about some flavored water). Fruit2O...in natural cherry. Delicious! Don't know what is up with the spacing here, but I so looked out on the balcony while I was getting dressed for dinner one night and saw this...Lucy biting her toenails!

We had a blast feeding the alligators and sea turtles at Live Bait. It was so cool!
There now...spacing all back to normal. I cannot believe my OCD self would leave this post this way. Macy loves wearing this hat of her Daddy's. It says "crop systems" on the back, but Macy misread it as "crap systems." Imagine my embarrassment when at the pool one day, Macy shouted, "Mama! My crap hat is getting wet!"
Now ya'll know I gotta bore you with some of my colorful pictures =)

And I am one of those goobers who likes to write messages in the sand, then take pictures of it. Jason thinks I am so silly.
Donna and Wesley's condo overlooks the pass where boats come in and out from the bay to the ocean and vice versa. The girls love climbing on the rocks.
This is really, really NOT as dangerous as it looks =)

I think this could be some great advertisement for Ginger Turner Real Estate...
And for John Deere...

My girls are definitely little fishes. They love some water!
Headed back to the best place in town...The Original Oyster House (we had to do it twice!).
Me and my white hair...I thought it would be funny to put some "Sun In" in my hair (remember that stuff??). Oh my horrors...it didn't just lighten my hair, it BLEACHED my hair. These pictures don't do it justice! If you know me, wait til you see me!!

My children have begun to accept the idea that their Mommy is obsessed with taking pictures on the balcony. Every night when we would get dressed to go out to dinner, bless their hearts, they just went outside and waited on me to come take pictures. They are catching on fast =)

Back at the Wharf on the ferris wheel...
And doing a little "crabbing" late at night (we love our cross shirts, Jennifer P!)...

Lucy loves drawing in the sand like her Mama...isn't that the sweetest cross?
Days 7 & 8 coming soon =)

Days 3 & 4 At the Beach

When we woke up on Tuesday, it was stormy. Ya'll know how I love me some rain...I really, really love a stormy day at the beach. It is just so cozy! We watched the storms...
And we ran out an swam in the pool anytime there was a break.

By nighttime, the storms had broken, so we headed out to Cosmos for dinner...this was the first time we had eaten there, and it was great!
We had a few minutes of a wait, so you know I had to take some pictures =)

My parents and Bippy...

I look like I have sleepy eyes in this picture, but I am laughing at Lucy trying to take it. She is becoming quite the photographer...although I always look like I have a double chin because she has to point up.

After dinner, we headed to Pirate's Island to play some putt putt golf. We have played at Pirate's Island for as long as I can remember. Here are the "hot pink girls."

On Wednesday, the sun was back out, so we enjoyed lots and lots of swimming and playing outside.
And before going out to eat that night, we had to do our annual beach pictures.

It is tough to get 4 kids to sit still for very long...we had to snap fast.

This one is for Jason...he thought it was real funny to take pictures of me (which I hate to have pictures taken of me by myself) with a building in the background that made me look like I had a Chinese hat on my head. I was wondering what he kept laughing at until I downloaded the pictures and realized this.

My girls are getting to big for me to hold on my hips, but I tried...

I love these of Lucy...
And this one of Macy...
We finished up the night with a ride on the ferris wheel at the Wharf!
